SOJANA

Sojana is a 35m sailing superyacht, designed by Farr Yacht Design and built in carbon fibre by Green Marine in the UK. Sojana is a performance ketch with an enviable competition record on the superyacht regatta circuit, with wins at the 2020 Antigua Superyacht Challenge, 2019 Antigua Sailing Week and St Barths Bucket testament to her prowess.

Sailing aficionados will be familiar with Sojana’s full-custom looks and racer cruiser lineage. Her exhilarating cruising, fast ocean passage making, and all-round pedigree make this 115-footer a standout superyacht.

Sojana has accommodation comfortably for six guests in three cabins and two children in one smaller bunk cabin. The master suite is located forward, there’s a VIP double to aft, a guest twin. Additional quarters are provided for the captain and a complement of four crew. It is possible to run the yacht with four crew, this way, an extra cabin with its own bathroom could be available to one more guest.

The spacious salon features a large dining table to port and sofa seating to starboard. Stairs lead up to her aft deck, which is purposefully left clear for versatility of use.

In cruising mode, Sojana runs with a core crew of five but can easily accommodate a full race crew as required. Her main mast stands 41.8-metres-tall, with a smaller 33.9-metre mizzen mast aft, and she flies over 1,000 square metres of sail downwind. In racing mode, she can reach in excess of 15-20 knots in 10-15 knots of breeze.

Sojana underwent a significant refit at Southampton Yacht Services in 2015/16 with extensive cosmetic and technical enhancements, and all standing rigging was replaced with Carbo-Link carbon rigging in 2020. Maintained to fastidious standards under the experienced ownership of the late Sir Peter Harrison, Sojana is ready to stretch her sails once again and bring sailing success to a new owner.

Another significant refit was done in 2022: a new main engine was installed, all generators were fully serviced, a new custom tender was fitted perfectly into the aft garage, 90% of the electronics were replaced (a full refit list is available).

With a few adaptations, Sojana would be commercially compliant and is likely to receive good charter bookings in the Mediterranean and Caribbean.
